The product complies with the standards of GBT 7424.2-2008 General Specification for Optical Cables, Part 2 Basic Test Methods for Optical Cables.
(1) Purpose:
This device is suitable for testing the tensile performance of butterfly shaped fiber optic cables used in access networks within a specified tensile load range (usually the load allowed during installation), that is, to determine the attenuation changes, fiber strain, and/or the functional relationship between fiber strain and tensile load in the optical cable.
(2) Characteristics:
This equipment adopts computer control, servo motor drive, precision ball screw transmission loading, and precision load sensor signal measurement. It has the characteristics of smooth loading, accurate measurement, rapid control response, diverse control methods, convenient and accurate digital calibration of load and elongation, and full load protection and position protection.
